This role requires the preparation of high quality, timely civil designs satisfying both organisation and client expectations, ensuring professional and statutory standards are met.
Our team offers specialised skills and extensive expertise in Town Planning, Land Surveying, Building Design, Civil Engineering and Civil Construction Management.
Responsibilities include:
- Preplanning, determination of objectives and gathering data via research
and clarifying scope - Consolidation of data, including consideration of options and constraints
- Preparation and self-checking of conceptual and functional design
- Prepare and self-check detailed civil design using 12D and AutoCAD
software packages - Prepare drawings and/or technical documentation as required
- Review, evaluate, check designs and documentation in accordance with KLMS QA requirements
- Coordinate, liaise and check with Construction Contract Administrator
- Follow up parties responsible for authorising drawing approvals
- Preparation of Schedule of Quantities
- Maintain and develop workplace standards and policies including industrial,
OH&S, environmental, legal, statutory and contractual requirements. - Ensure conformance to KLM Spatial quality standards.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Company’s Guidelines, Mission and Value Statements.
