The project has involved a number of complex approvals and negotiations, particularly in relation to environmental overlays and legacy site constraints. KLM Spatial recently secured the planning permit for the northern section of the estate, marking a key milestone in unlocking the site’s development potential.
To support the permit process, a Freedom of Information (FOI) request was lodged with the EPA, ensuring clarity on historical site conditions and contamination data. The project is now progressing to VCAT, with a hearing scheduled in the coming month.
